What I do on Most Days, Currently!

Ok, this was a post that I just decided was needed to make. And basically, I am going to tell you all what most days are like for me, and all it is I do in a day. Yes, right now, I do not have a job, but I am trying really hard to find one! So, I usually spend some time job searching and filling out applications. Some days I babysit my niece and nephew in the afternoon or morning for a couple of hours. I get the groceries myself if it is a day my mom is not feeling good, but if my mom is feeling good we both go out together. On Wednesdays I have Kids Hope and go to mentor my student. I do pretty much all the cleaning around the house, my mom does like to help me a little bit if she can, but most of the time she can't. Me and my mom cook supper together right now, sometimes I even do all the cooking if my mom just is not feeling up to it. I take care of the dishes and the after supper clean up. Right now me and my mom do the laundry together. I gather it all up and bring it to the laundry room and my mom sorts and then I load it into the washer and dryer and bring the clean stuff out to the living room where me and my mom will sit and fold it, and I put my own laundry away and my mom puts hers and my dads away and Adam puts his away. I have Tre-J on Saturday nights that I am a "leader in training" at. Yes, in my down time I do like to do things like write in notebooks, read a book, watch some Netflix, or some youtube, maybe play a video game. But that is just in between the job hunting and housework and grocery shopping and babysitting and other random things. Yes, my schedule is not overly busy right now, but that doesn't mean I sit at home and do nothing. There are things that I do that are of importance and are necessary things to do. I also try to get together with friends and things like that when I can so I can get out of the house and catch up with the people I love. I by no means am super busy or anything, but I do manage to keep occupied and keep from getting bored. This past week I was a little more busy just because of having to restock our fridge and cupboard with groceries and having some errands to run, babysitting, kids hope, and I had a few things to do for a fundraiser today. But this was kind of a unique week. Though I love to have a job so I can be more busy and be a little more happy with life, I am still ok with how things are until I do get a job. Like I said, there is a lot I hope to accomplish in this next year and I hope to prove to people the person I truly am and the person God wants me to be. But I am growing and learning, and for now have a nice amount of responsibilities.

If I Were to Be a Chapel Speaker...

Thinking back to being a student sitting in the seats of Holland Christian's auditorium during chapel, I remember hearing a lot of great speakers. Some were just funny, others had amazing stories that you could just never forget, and some just really hit home with the lessons they were teaching. I always really liked when past students of HC would come back to do a chapel and share things they have learned, it was always interesting to hear how far they had come in their lives. And I remember thinking to myself on occasion, "if I were to be asked to speak in chapel, what would I talk about?" I'M PREGNANT!! Currently 14 1/2 Weeks Along.

Woah, long time no post! Clearly, by the title, a lot has happened in the last months. So let me jump right on in. Well, as the title says, I am pregnant! My due date is December 12, 2020. I found out I was pregnant by taking an at home pregnancy test on April 10th. Matt and I began trying to get pregnant in February, after I had my IUD removed on January 31. We made the decision to start trying, because I honestly thought I was going to have a hard time getting pregnant and that it was probably going to take us a long time and a lot of trying, and that we might even need help. And I was basing that all on the fact that my cycle had always been irregular my whole life. I was diagnosed with PCOS at the age of 13, but was told it was most likely weight related and that if I lost my weight it would be fixed.
