Exercise Lifestyle Change!
So, I have made some big lifestyle changes. Mostly when it comes to my diet. I eat a hundred times healthier than I ever ate before. I so much less food in general, and mostly eat only healthy foods. Or I should say mostly foods high in protein and I try to get in some fruit and vegetable every day, too. And I am so proud with how far I have come regarding my diet and the big changes I have made to it.
But, there is something I do need to work on changing more in my lifestyle. And that thing, is exercise! Now, don't get me wrong, I am fairly active on a day to day basis with my job and having to chase around kids all the time. But, I need to do more than just chase around kids at work. So, I have started trying to find some exercise things I can do. The first thing I have found that I am doing, is called "Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred". I have already done 2 days of it. The first day was brutal, I barely thought I was going to make it through. But, the second day went just a little bit smoother. And I really want to try and stick to this! So, feel free to kick me in the butt and ask me if I have done it recently and encourage me and push me to do it even when I don't think I can! Part of getting healthy is being fit and active.
The other thing I am going to start doing, is swimming. A local recreation center in my area has lap swimming for only $2 a time you go. So I am thinking of trying to do that at least twice a week, and my mom has even said she would love to do it with me! I was going to go this past Thursday, but my mom got a really nasty stomach bug and I ended having to take her to the ER to get her some fluids and to get her vomiting to stop. So that kind of put a damper in my plans. But, its ok, my mom is more important. I am planning on getting started on that this coming week, though. Probably will go swimming on Monday and again on Thursday, and will try to do that weekly. For sure every Thursday, since my Thursdays are normally pretty open, Mondays might be a little iffy depending on what I got going on. But will definitely try hard!
Those are things I want to right now for the time being, since it is winter in Michigan, and it is quite cold, and there is that nasty white stuff we call snow. Which means I can't exactly go for a walk because it is either snowing and slippery or it is freezing cold and I just spend most of my time coughing and sniffling and not so much walking. But, when spring roles around, I plan to go for a walk when ever the weather is nice enough for it! I love going for a walk, and to me that is the easiest way for me to get in some decent exercise. Not only that it allows me to just be alone and think and pray and enjoy God's creation. So, I am very much looking forward to spring time!
In general I just want to get more physically fit so I can be in better shape and continue to lose even more weight, and just in better shape so I can do even more. So, that is why I am looking to improve my exercise lifestyle. Even just simple things like being more willing to run down stairs to grab something for people, or help with more household chores that involve a lot of movement. Even just do simple things like turn on music and dance around the house. I don't know. Just general improve the kind of activity I get. So PLEASE definitely encourage me and kick me the butt a little to get me moving! I need it and want it! Message me and say things like "What are you doing right now? Could you be doing your exercises?" or "Keep on pushing through, get up and get moving!" or "You have already come so far in your journey, don't slow down now, get up and get your workout done". Anything along those lines. I like encouragement and I don't need people to come down hard on me and make me feel like I am not doing enough. I need to people to push me in an encouraging way and guide me. Thanks to all for reading and being amazing! I promise to update on how things are going for me!
